We think we can speak for many when we say 2020 has been an incredibly challenging year. Precious lives have been lost in the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. Many lost jobs. Food insecurities are abundant.
That’s why, as we prepare for the 10th Annual Superior Health Foundation Gala on Saturday, Sept. 11, in the Ball Rooms at Northern Michigan University, our efforts we will be on COVID-19 and providing philanthropic funding to two deserving non-profit organizations.
At this stage, we honestly don’t know if we will have a live, in-person event OR a live virtual event, much like we had in 2020. We may have to seat less people. There will likely be social distancing policies in place. Rest assured, whatever transpires in the coming month, SHF will follow all health guidelines and make the necessary moves to ensure a safe, healthy event. That is our No. 1 priority.
The myriad of health issues we are facing is greater than ever. So, for 2021, SHF will partner with two health-centered, non-profits and award funding to two initiatives that were developed because of the changes to our operating environment and will be sustained or expanded as we work through the pandemic.
Our annual gala is successful because of people and organizations like you who charitably invest in their communities. We’re incredibly excited about going down a path to normalcy and the 2021 gala, which will feature a world-renowned Mentalist as entertainment, promises to be exciting.
We’re very hopeful that your organization will be back again this year to help sponsor and attend our event! We have slightly altered our sponsorship levels to ensure there are options that align with your 2021 budget.

We’re so appreciative of your ongoing support. And, we are hopeful that we can gather in person on Sept. 11 and raise a glass to celebrate our good health and provide meaningful dollars to three incredible organizations.
