The Superior Health Foundation is now accepting grant applications for its Indigent Care Fund.
Superior Health Foundation was the recipient of $1.2 million from the former Medical Care Access Coalition (MCAC). Those monies have been invested in the market, with investment earnings used to provide funding to tax-exempt and government organizations that provide or arrange for medical or healthcare services to residents of the Upper Peninsula.
SHF will award up to $56,632.38 at its spring grant celebration in early May.
This year, qualified health-centered, non-profit organizations can apply for up to $10,000 — in place of the previous $5,000 — in funding.
.Applications will be accepted from February 1 through March 1, 2022.
