The Superior Health Foundation is a health-centered, grant-giving organization based in Marquette, Michigan. It provides grant funding to organizations all across the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It hosts four special events annually, along with two grant celebrations: Golf Outing (June), Gala (September), Painting the Peninsula Pink (October), Spring Grants Celebration (April) and Fall Grants Celebration (October).
SHF seeks volunteers to help with a variety of roles, ranging from selling merchandise and 50/50 tickets to helping with various facets of the event. SHF seeks volunteers committed to improving the health and well-being of residents in the Upper Peninsula, falling in line with SHF’s mission to “To assist with unmet healthcare needs, with health education, and with programs and research on preventing illness and promoting health.”
SHF views Special Events as an integral piece of its overall giving strategy, while at the same time, strengthening relationships and partnerships with people and businesses all across the region.
