The Care Access Fund (formerly Indigent Care Fund) started when Superior Health Foundation recieved $1.2 million from the former Medical Care Access Coalition (MCAC).
Examples of grants given through this fund include:

- A hospice that provides funding to families who can otherwise not afford to admit a loved one.
- A hospital that provides financial assistance to patients who cannot otherwise afford care.
- A behavioral health center that helps clients with the cost of residential or outpatient treatment.
