Superior Health Foundation Announces Partners for 2025 Gala

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) –

Mark your calendar for September 27—the Superior Health Foundation returns to Marquette for the 14th year. This morning on Upper Michigan Today, the Superior Health Foundation announced the partners who will benefit from this fundraiser.Megan Murphy, the CEO of the Superior Health Foundation, says the organization chose two partners to benefit from the gala this year: Trillium House and Beacon House. Each organization will receive at least $40,000 from this event.

Melissa Cavill, executive director of Trillium House, discusses services and how the funds will support Trillium. She says funds from the Gala will support the Dan Mazzuchi Care Fund, which helps provide financial assistance for individuals needing end-of-life care. She adds that last year Trillium House spent about $175,000 on these services.

Mary Tavernini Dowling is the CEO of Beacon House. She says families pay what they can when they stay, so the financial need varies from guest to guest. She says funds from the gala will support the Meals for Families project.

The Superior Health Foundation still needs sponsors for this year’s gala! You can learn more at superiorhealthfoundation.org.
